Getz Pharma organizes Cultural Musical Evening

To foster local culture and arts, Getz Pharma in collaboration with MAD (Music, Art and Dance) School organized a musical evening for its employees and their families at the Getz Pharma premises, on October 22, 2016. The event, first of its kind in the country, promoted intercultural harmony and supported peace, love and brotherhood amongst the various ethnicities of Pakistan. More than 800 employees, with their families and friends, enjoyed the musical evening.

Featuring an all-acoustic orchestra, talented musicians and artists from the various ethnicities of Pakistan performed in nine different regional languages. These included a blend of songs in Urdu, Punjabi, Sindhi, Marwari, Shina, Hindko, Balochi, Siraiki and Pashto. The efforts were applauded by the audience who soaked in the tunes and beats of different folk instruments.

The same event was held at the Sharafi Goth Football Ground in Korangi, Karachi on October 30, 2016 for the residents of the area and the passionate football players, who Getz Pharma, under its CSR initiatives, has been supporting to promote sports. The area, which lacks avenues and funds to arrange such entertainment, is home to a multitude of people who were invited to enjoy the event with their families and friends. More than 1000 guests attended the event, organized free of cost by Getz Pharma and MAD, and enjoyed the fusion of songs.
