Getz Pharma dedicatedly celebrates Earth Day every year on April 22, to highlight the company’s commitment towards, environmental protection, to support nature conservation and promote environmentally friendly practices. A large number of Getz Pharma employees attended the year’s celebrations, which included informative and interactive activities including tree plantations, an awareness session by a guest speaker, and the acclaimed documentary ‘An Inconvenient Truth’ by Al-Gore, to share the concerns of global warming and inspire employees to take action towards preserving the planet. Employees put their stamps on the Pledge Wall and vowed to protect the Earth through various effective measures that included plantation, emission reduction, water conservation, energy conservation and recycling practices.
In 1970, the year of the world’s first Earth Day, the movement gave voice to an emerging consciousness, channeling human energy toward environmental issues.
