Getz Pharma organized a special awareness session on Epilepsy Day at its head office to educate employees about epilepsy, dispel common misconceptions, and encourage an informed dialogue on the neurological disorder.

The session featured esteemed speakers, including Prof. Dr. Iqbal Afridi, Dean of the Faculty of Psychiatry at the College of Physicians & Surgeons Pakistan (CPSP) and Adjunct Professor at Baylor College of Medicine, USA, and Prof. Dr. Fowzia Siddiqui, Professor of Clinical Neurophysiology and Neurology and President of the Epilepsy Foundation Pakistan. The event was moderated by Dr. Jahanzeb Kamal, Senior Director of Medical Affairs, Pharmacovigilance & Clinical Research at Getz Pharma.

Both experts provided valuable insights into epilepsy, its causes, treatment options, and the importance of early diagnosis and management.
