With this objective, Getz Pharma was a key sponsor at ICON 2018, Indus Health Network’s biennial scientific conference in January 2018, at the Marriot Hotel, Karachi.
At ICON, Getz Pharma not only sponsored the registration of 30 doctors, but also set up an interactive stall to entertain and educate doctors’ in-between the scientific sessions. Participants appreciated the chance to interact with the Getz Pharma team, and received printed souvenir photos from the interactive selfie kiosk installed within the stall. The interactive Android kiosk, with its variety of online games, was also popular. Such digital engagements are part of Getz Pharma`s continuous innovations in marketing practices.
The two-day ICON 2018, with its theme of ‘Redefining Healthcare’, consisted of plenary sessions, symposiums, and workshops aimed to encourage debate and discussion on efficient and innovative delivery of care. Twenty disciplines were represented at the CME-accredited conference including: family medicine, orthopedic, infectious disease, and urology. More than 1800 doctors, local and international, participated in the event.
