As an adjunct to diet to reduce elevated total-C, LDL-C, Apo B, and TG levels and to increase HDL levels in primary hypercholesterolemia and mixed dyslipidemia, hypertriglyceridemia, primary dysbetalipoproteinemia, homozygous familial hypercholesterolemia, heterozygous familial hypercholesterolemia (boys and postmenarchal girls 10-17 years of age), and in prevention of cardiovascular disease.
