Getz Pharma Donates 1.9 Million Hydroxychloroquine Tablets & 15,000 Testing Kits to the Government of Sindh to Help Those Affected by the COVID-19 Pandemic

Pakistan’s leading pharmaceutical company, Getz Pharma donates around 1.9 million Hydroxychloroquine tablets, 15000 testing kits and over 1500 Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to the Government of Sindh in its fight against the coronavirus pandemic.

The company has also dispatched Personal Protective Equipments (PPE) to more than 50 hospitals, isolation wards, quarantine centers and clinics of Sindh. The move was taken to ensure the safety of health care professionals in the front-line battling the deadly pandemic.

These kits have already been dispatched to hospitals and medical institutions in Karachi, Hyderabad, Sukkur, Nawabshah, and Larkana and will be sent to more cities.

Getz Pharma’s Managing Director and CEO Mr. Khalid Mahmood, who is committed to helping the Government of Sindh, said in his recent meeting with Health Minister, Sindh Azra Pechuho “During these tough times, Getz Pharma remains committed to extending its support to the Government of Sindh as it is through Public-Private partnership that the safety of our health care professionals and patients suffering from coronavirus can be ensured.”
