With June 2015 bringing with it a severe heat wave which took the lives of more than 2,000 citizens in southern Pakistan, Getz Pharma launched a heat wave relief camp in the vicinity of its plant in Korangi, Karachi on May 20, 2016 to help prevent a similar catastrophe.
The 6th Annual All-Karachi Korangi Baloch Challenge Cup was held at the Sharafi Goth football ground in Korangi, Karachi, in May 2016. More than 30 talented and highly competitive teams took part in the competition, with All Brothers Football Club Malir emerging victorious.
To appreciate the dedication, heroism and importance of our firefighting team, International Firefighters’ Day was celebrated on May 4, 2016, at the Getz Pharma premises to value the commitment, efforts, and risks taken by firefighters.
Getz Pharma was awarded First Prize for Best Practices in Occupational Safety Health & Environment (OSH&E), in the Food, FMCG and the Pharmaceutical Sector by the International Labor Organization (ILO) and Employers Federation of Pakistan (EFP) at the 11th OHSE Award Ceremony in April 2016.
